This week's news package was aimed at showcasing a person on campus that had talent. Although there are many students on campus who have exceptional talent, we decided on showcasing a junior, Hilary Wehner. She is a clarinet player who participates in the pep band at basketball games, in Church on Sundays, and she played a major role in composing the school fight song.
Max did a great job on editing the video into a more viewable and entertaining piece. We set up two cameras so that we had two different angles to work with. Hilary is a very talented clarinet player but is a little quiet. With Max's editing skills and Hilary's clarinet playing throughout faintly in the background the piece ended up a lot better than it originally was. At first it was a little boring with just her sitting in the chair, but with the music in the background and the jump-cuts I think this piece has become a lot better.
